Job Overview:
Teaching Personnel is working in collaboration with an Ofsted ‘GOOD’ rated secondary school on the search for a Religious Teacher. This role is for a full-time position starting in April 2025.
This large Secondary School hosts over 1200 pupils and is part of a successful Trust. As a Religious Teacher, this role also holds the possibility of furthering your career with the opportunity to step into TLR.
The school is centrally located in Northampton and is easily accessible via public transport from Kettering, Wellingborough, and Corby, with ample staff parking on site.
Your New Role:
The role involves teaching Religious Studies predominantly to Year 7 - Year 11 GCSE classes (KS3/4). A Religious Studies Teacher with at least 1 year of experience teaching Religious Studies to GCSE is essential.
With a well-equipped religious education department, your role will allow you to be creative and dynamic in your teaching style. You will be responsible for planning, marking, and delivering Religious Studies lessons to your timetabled KS3 and KS4 classes, with PPA time included. You must arrive no later than 8:15 am and finish at 3:10 pm.
Pay:
You will be paid according to the National Teacher Pay Scale salary between M1 - UPS1 on a daily rate equivalent.
