Quantity Surveyor - Drywall & Facade Packages Location: Dartford, Kent Full-Time | Permanent Department: Commercial Salary: Competitive (Dependent on Experience) Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in drywall and facade systems? If so, we want to hear from you TRIbuild are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Quantity Surveyor to join a growing Commercial team. In this role, you'll take charge of estimating, surveying, and managing drywall and facade packages across a diverse range of projects. Working closely with clients, architects, structural engineers, suppliers, and our in-house technical department, you'll ensure every project is delivered with precision and cost efficiency. What You'll Be Doing Prepare accurate cost estimates and monthly valuations. Control weekly wage bookings and resolve wage-related queries. Manage project variations and monitor non-recoverable costs. Attend client, design, and internal project meetings. Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to gather technical data, pricing, and lead times. Track project cash flow and report on collection progress. Ensure compliance with health & safety and legal regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project successes and improvements. What We're Looking For 3 years of experience in estimating/quantity surveying, ideally within drywall and facade systems. Proven knowledge of construction processes and materials including dry lining, lightweight steel framing, cladding systems, curtain walling, render systems, and windows/doors. Strong numeracy and analytical skills - including trigonometry and algebra. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access). Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal (UK English). Able to work independently with a proactive and flexible approach. A strong understanding of relevant regulations and Health & Safety legislation. Ability to build positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
