For the role of Country Manager UK & Ireland, you would need to be based in the UK. Ideally, you will have had experience in the field of fuel tanks or environmental protection. For this senior role, you would need to be able to communicate confidently with customers ranging from shop assistants to company CEOs. There is a large management aspect to the Country Manager role, involving warehousing, logistics, pricing, marketing, and sales, which will suit an applicant with well-rounded business experience.
Your Responsibilities
1. Responsibility for the expansion of our market position in the UK & Ireland
2. Expansion of existing customer relationships and strategic development of new customers
3. Supporting selected key account customers and conducting customer visits
4. Training of customers
5. Preparing quotations as well as telephone consulting for our customers
6. Preparing market data and information
7. Preparing marketing and action plans
8. Development of new sales concepts and products in cooperation with your colleagues from the areas of export, marketing, product development, and with the management
9. Organise exhibiting at trade fairs
10. Preparing sales statistics
11. Annual calculation of price lists
12. Monitoring warehouse stock levels and ordering product required
13. Protect the company from bad debt by liaising with customers whose accounts are in arrears
14. Offer first line of technical support to customers
15. Assist Marketing Department in developing English marketing material
16. Monitor warehousing and logistics effectiveness and liaise with supplier
Your profile
1. Several years of professional experience in sales of technical products
2. Hands-on and entrepreneurial attitude
3. Good communication skills, organisational talent, and confident appearance
4. Independent and responsible way of working
5. Fluent in written and spoken English
6. German language skills an advantage
7. Confident handling of MS-Office
8. Occasional travel to head office in Germany
