THE GIG
Providing first-class Facilities support to 100+ retail sites across 7 countries in Mainland Europe and the UK, delivering proactive and reactive support within Dr. Martens.
This role is fast-paced, and you’ll need to have great attention to detail and be happy to stick with a task until the end, as well as being adaptable when work tasks & priorities change. At Dr. Martens, we champion individuality and want people to play to their strengths. We’ve listed below some key accountabilities for the role.
1. You will take responsibility for coordinating all sites' facilities management needs in Europe / UK. You will provide the highest level of support to the sites enabling them to maintain continuous, quality service for the staff and guests alike.
2. Oversee all soft and hard facility needs, ensuring they are catered for swiftly, with minimal impact and are cost-efficient.
3. The areas covered across the retail network will include Maintenance, Waste management, cleaning, PPM EU / UK, and ensuring safety compliance.
4. Be in regular contact with contractors and landlords to discuss, query and chase reactive call outs, seeing them through to completion and authorising charges.
5. Liaise with suppliers/contractors to ensure that both comply with contracted responsibilities i.e., KRA’s and SLA’s.
6. Manage all approvals, invoices, PO’s, supplier set up, and providing clear expectations for EU + UK.
7. Focus on keeping facilities management costs to a minimum and challenge where possible.
8. Oversee out of hours call outs and be a point of escalation for business-critical call outs.
9. Comply with H&S regulations and ensure our sites are safe environments.
10. Complete monthly reports showing activity, costs, and concerns.
11. Manage budgets tightly across the estate.

2. Similar experience within a similar role for a retailer, multi-country approach.
3. Confident team player with an engaging approach.
4. Strong organisation, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and generally good IT skills.
6. Familiar with major facilities platforms.
7. You’ll work within and contribute to a highly engaged team – ensuring a collaborative culture and providing guidance & support to other team members.
8. You will bring the outside-in; you’ll share best practice across the team / business and encourage ideas sharing as well as collaborative problem solving.
9. You’ll lead the way and role model on all things DE&I & wellbeing.
