Global Accounting Network are partnered with a growing property company who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their passionate, forward-thinking team. This is a brilliant opportunity for a finance assistant who is proactive and detail orientated who is keen to get stuck into a new challenge within the real estate sector. Key Responsibilities Prepare weekly supplier and utility payment reports Set up ad-hoc and weekly supplier payments, ensuring relevant controls and approvals Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations Review and process staff expense claims Onboard and de-board properties and tenants on the financial system Assist with monthly management reporting, budget preparation, and statutory account filings Prepare VAT returns and assist with board meeting preparations Ensure timely and accurate invoice entry, with correct VAT treatment Collaborate with internal teams (finance, property management, operations) to achieve organisational goals Person Specification Have a degree or AAT qualifications or similar, and are keen to progress onto ACCA/CIMA Have experience with assisting month-end reporting and operating within tight deadlines Have experience assisting with preparing financial reports and accounts payable Have a strong understanding of accounting concepts Experience with property management systems (Zoho/MRI/FloQast) is desirable but not essential
