Main duties of the job
As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you'll be responsible for supporting the care and wellbeing of residents at Stanley House, a long-term care facility for people with neurological conditions. This will involve providing personal care, assisting with daily activities, and helping to deliver specialist therapeutic interventions. You'll work closely with the multidisciplinary team to review and address the changing needs of residents. The role requires a positive attitude, compassion, and the ability to work in a challenging but rewarding environment.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. As a Healthcare Assistant on our bank, you’ll be on a zero-hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.
Where you will be working
Location: Bosbury, Hereford, Herefordshire, HR8 1HB. You will be working at Stanley House, a service which offers a multidisciplinary approach to its long-term care provision and provides specialised care and expert therapeutic interventions. Residents at Stanley House have varying needs, from being able to manage some of their own needs to being fully reliant. This includes personal care involving washing, dressing, shaving, and helping with continence needs.
