Job Description: HR Advisor
A friendly and ever-changing and growing School Trust is looking for an HR Advisor that will:
1. Run the daily HR operations for academies
2. Help leaders, managers, and staff with HR questions and problems
3. Work with HR Business Partners to make sure HR policies are followed correctly
4. Help make People & Culture Strategy a reality
In this role you will:
1. Help with HR issues like misconduct, capability, and absence
2. Be the first point of contact for all HR queries
3. Support leaders and managers with HR tasks and make sure they know our policies and procedures
4. Understand the needs of our schools and help headteachers solve problems and find solutions
5. Give advice and support on all HR projects and processes
6. Help managers improve their skills and knowledge to manage people better
7. Support staff who are absent due to illness or injury and help analyse patterns of absence
8. Work with HRBP and Director of People on projects like training programs, policy reviews, and new policy creation
9. Help analyse data to identify trends and work with HR Business Partners and leaders to create action plans
To be successful you will have:
1. Experience in coaching and advising leaders and managers in generalist HR matters including performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance
2. Experience in a fast-paced environment
3. Knowledge of ER case policies
