We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Business Analyst to join our team specializing in Systems and IT for our Cummins Emission Solutions in Daventry in UK. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential! This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence 1st July 2025.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
1. IT, Computing, Business and STEM related University Degree with a 12-month placement integrated.
2. Fundamental grasp of basic IT, and a desire to learn and grow.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to learn, analyze, and understand business and technical processes.
5. Must be a team player with the ability to work as part of a global team with good communication.
6. SQL or other basic coding exposure; knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform: BI, Apps, automate are beneficial but not required.
Qualifications
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
1. Owner of change and service management processes for our IT applications.
2. Involvement with SCRUM Agile processes, ceremonies, and administration.
3. Building an understanding of IT systems and their interaction with business processes.
4. Business Analysis activities: process mapping, requirements elicitation, solution design, general problem solving.
5. Analysis, development, and support for Business Intelligence dashboards/reports/models/solutions.
6. Coordination with Global team members internal and external, also involved with community responsibility and charity initiatives.
