As the nation’s flag carrier, we take great pride in connecting Britain with the world and the world with Britain.
It’s something we’ve been doing for over 100 years, ever since we launched the world’s first international scheduled air service between London and Paris.
This originality has been in our blood since day one. It’s the spirit we share with the people that fly with us, our partners, and our colleagues.
So, whether you are a reassuring voice on the end of a phone, a smile at the door, under a wing keeping the turbines spinning or landing us gently in far-flung places, a job at British Airways is yours to make.
We know great things can happen when you’re inspired to think big and bring your ambition to work every day, which is why, at British Airways the sky is never the limit.
BA Euroflyer is inviting passionate, career-focused experienced captains to join our London-based team. BA Euroflyer is a subsidiary of British Airways based at London Gatwick.
Your goal will be to provide the very best flight experience possible. Wherever you are going, your flying will be world-class. The life of a commercial pilot is exciting, and you’ll be challenged every day to perform to the highest standards, leading the team in the air and on the ground.
Our fleet of 22 A320/A321 aircraft is growing, our routes are connecting our customers to destinations throughout Europe & North Africa, whilst offering the well-known British Airways product, where the customer always comes first. We work hard to deliver the highest professional and safety standards, whilst celebrating and recognising when staff go the extra mile. In your first year as a Euroflyer commander, you can expect to earn around £130,000 based on flying 800 hours per year. Joining Euroflyer on a 12-year pay scale, it will only go up from there.
And there’s more…when joining Euroflyer, you join the British Airways master seniority list. You will be placed onto the same seniority list as a BA mainline pilot, so what benefits does this have for you? It means you have the same bidding rights as a mainline pilot. What you bid for is entirely up to you and how you want your career to develop, you have the ability to bid for different fleets and different seats!
