About the Role – Events Intern This temporary role is ideal for anyone looking for invaluable experience working within a fast paced, growing business, delivering a busy schedule of healthcare events. The position comes at an exciting time in our growth, as we have executed a number of large-scale events, including the Patient Flow Summit, the LIHE Breakfast, and the Proud2bOps Annual Congress, all of which were received with an unprecedented level of success. We are looking for additional support as we get set to deliver this year’s Haematology Patient and Carer’s Congress in May. The role will see you providing key administrative and logistical support to the entire Meet Health team. Every day will be different and you will be able to explore multiple aspects of the event planning and delivery process amongst a close-knit team of seasoned professionals. You will gain vital insight into the behind-the-scenes of event operations and be a key player in ensuring seamless on-the-day delivery. Key Responsibilities: Administrative tasks, keeping multiple sets of data like mailing lists and registers up to date via Google Sheets, ensuring high levels of accuracy at all times. Managing both email and telephone campaigns to ensure audience retention. Sourcing new data to reach larger audiences. Booking travel and accommodation arrangements. Social media management. Ad hoc responsibilities to support the team as needed. Key Requirements: Highly organised and able to balance multiple workloads while effectively managing their own time. Confident communication style with excellent written and telephone manner. Educated to Degree level or relevant experience in the Events Industry.
