Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate dentist to join our thriving practice, where you will have the opportunity to care for a large, well-maintained patient list. With circa 800 registered Denplan patients, that provide consistent and predictable income, private pay-as-you-go clients, and a sprinkling of NHS patients (only 250 UDAs annually, Performer No. required), meaning you can more or less leave the NHS behind, this is a fantastic opportunity not to be missed!
Responsibilities
* Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
* Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Conduct various dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventative care.
* Utilise medical imaging techniques to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry or equivalent qualification recognised by the General Dental Council (GDC).
* Valid GDC registration and relevant certifications.
* Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and medical imaging techniques.
* Familiarity with CAD technology is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Excellent communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when required.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of industry trends.
