To excel in this role, you will possess: A strong academic background, including a relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACCA, etc.) Significant experience in a similar senior audit role, ideally within a complex and regulated environment. A deep understanding of internal audit principles and standards, including the Public Sector Internal Audit Standards. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
