The Getting More Help CAMHS team is a supportive team with a particular focus on your wellbeing. We understand that working in CAMHS can be challenging and therefore strive to ensure that you are well supported. Teams managers work alongside clinicians to ensure that individual job plans are created to support clinicians in managing capacity of caseloads. We ensure that we celebrate our successes and acknowledge the hard work we do to support children and YP. There is a strong sense of team working and supporting one another. There will be opportunities to develop clinical skills through ongoing training, such as systemic skills, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy skills and Dialectical Behaviour Skills. Mandatory training will be provided as well as ongoing training to undertake the role. In house training by CAMHS specialist teams occur regularly and on an ad hoc basis. The CAMHS South Getting More Help Team serves the community of Abingdon, Didcot, Wantage, Henley, Thame, the surrounding villages and parts of Oxford, providing a service that operates Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. This post is full time but if that doesn't work for you, we're open to discussions about part time hours too!
