The Operations team underpins these new services, delivering essential systems and services across the infrastructure layer which provide the foundation for all IT services across the University.
We are looking for a Network Engineer to join the team and help deliver our network transformation into the vxlan model with Juniper Mist AI underpinning the service. Working with modern technology at an enterprise scale, this is a rare opportunity to learn and make a difference to the customers of the network
You must have the following to be considered for the role:
* Demonstrable experience in managing Juniper switching and routing
* Experience in operating within an enterprise or campus environment
* Knowledge of Network Access Control (NAC) products
* Experience in working with enterprise Wi-Fi
In addition, you should be able to:
* Demonstrate how good documentation fits into a service delivery model
* Present technical information to non-specialist audiences
You will have :
* Experience of working with enterprise networks
* A solid understanding of networking principles and best practice
* Experience of Juniper technologies
* Able to work on-site
