The role
As a Senior CAD Technician your role will be varied and include responsibilities, such as:
1. Provision of technical advice to colleagues or clients
2. Production of high-quality plans for public consultation or inquiry
3. Production of drawings/diagrams or data for colleagues or clients
4. Undertake on-site measurements and collect associated data to inform design work
5. Review and assess new advances in relevant technology
6. Comply with all operational requirements and systems

About you
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious CAD Technician, with:
1. Experience developing preliminary highway schemes, the design of priority junctions, signal controlled junctions, and roundabouts to relevant design standards
2. Knowledge of car park layout design / multi-storey car park design including access ramps to relevant guidance
3. Knowledge of cycle scheme design (LTN-1-20 / CD145 / LCDS)
4. Expert use of AutoCAD software
5. Expert use of Vehicle Tracking software
6. Experience using additional software packages is advantageous (Civil 3D, Map 3D, Keylines, Keysigns)
