You will need to demonstrate excellent clinical, leadership, teaching and communication skills. You should have at least two years experience in an ITU Setting as a Band 6, have extensive knowledge of all aspects of critical care along with an accredited post graduate critical care qualification and post graduate clinical education qualification. You should be confident to share knowledge undertake teaching and training sessions make assessments of professional practice and be able to action plan and set objectives to enhance competency. Proven teaching history and teaching qualification along with excellent interpersonal skills are essential. you should possess the ability to monitor, maintain and improve service delivery.
