The Team
The Real Estate Finance team is renowned for its expertise across a wide range of real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine finance, development finance, and CMBS. The team regularly advises leading banks and financial institutions, handling complex cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters, with a particular focus on the financing of major hospitality assets. The firm's strong international presence allows for involvement in high-profile, global transactions.
The Role
The successful candidate will work on a variety of real estate finance matters, including managing complex transactions and providing clear, concise legal advice to clients. You will be responsible for drafting key documents, overseeing transaction execution, and contributing to business development efforts. The role provides exposure to some of the most sophisticated finance transactions in the market, with a focus on cross-jurisdictional work and a high level of client interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting and reviewing core legal documents accurately and efficiently.
* Delivering clear and tailored legal advice to clients.
* Managing complex transactions and ensuring efficient execution.
* Building and maintaining client relationships, including client training and networking events.
* Administering matters effectively, including preparing fee quotes, opening files, and providing fee updates.
* Utilising best practice tools to drive the efficient delivery of transactions.
Key Requirements:
* 2-4 PQE with experience in real estate finance, ideally gained at a leading law firm.
* Proven ability to manage complex transactions and draft high-quality legal documents.
* Strong communication, analytical, and commercial skills.
* Experience collaborating with multi-jurisdictional teams and a keen interest in business development.
* A client-focused approach with a commercial mindset.
Candidates MUST be qualified solicitors, ideally in England & Wales or a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
