We have an exciting opportunity to work within a busy Financial Management department to help in supporting the Acute Services within NHS Highland as an Accounting Support Assistant.
We are seeking one enthusiastic individual to join our team for a 20-month fixed term contact.
As an Accounting Support Assistant, you'll be vital in maintaining accurate financial records using our ledger system. Your tasks will include:
1. Processing journals
2. Accruals
3. Budget amendments in line with our agreed timetables
4. Managing large spreadsheets
5. Reconciliations
If you're a motivated team player with great organisation and communication skills, this role will offer the opportunity to gain a wider understanding and working knowledge of the Acute services provided across the organisation.
Prior experience within financial management would be beneficial; however, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
Office based location: Assynt House, Inverness. This is a hybrid role; however, flexibility to travel and work at this location is an expectation of this role.
