Job summary Are you looking to work full time or part time in a dynamic specialist infusion unit - then here's your opportunity We are looking to recruit for 2 Band 5 Staff Nurses (1 full time and 1 part time at 30 hours per week) to join our team at Frimley Park Hospital. You will be working Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, or 9am to 5pm with limited weekends and no unsocial hours. Main duties of the job The IVAS infusion unit is a new concept in integrated Intravenous and vascular access services care for day case patients who can have infusion therapy to avoid admission or facilitate early discharge. The IVAS unit also includes the vascular access service and the HIMS service and as such all member of the team will become competent in ultrasound guided cannulation and midline insertion, competency in using all types of vascular access devices and working with HIMS patients. You will support and work in conjunction with the IVAS team in the delivery of outpatient and ambulatory care IV services.
