Schenk UK Ltd formally known as Suttons Tankers are an innovative national tanker haulage business, that operates a nationwide road tanker fleet which has been successfully serving the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste, and powders sectors for over 60 years, and is the largest chemical transporter in the UK.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Tanker Driver (Class 1 ADR) to join our team based at Blantyre, working a Monday to Friday - Day Tramper shift pattern. You will be responsible for delivering chemicals to our customers across the country. You will also be involved in delivering other products as and when required by the business.
Pay Rates:
* 45 hours guarantee
* £13.85 per hour Monday to Friday
* £20.78 per hour - after 8 hours per shift Monday to Friday
* £38.89 per night out
* £20.78 per hour for the first 5 hours on a Saturday then any additional hours at £27.70 per hour
* £27.70 per hour paid for Sunday shifts
* £27.70 per hour paid Bank Holidays plus day in lieu
* 12 hour guarantee when nighting out

Essential Requirements:
* An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points
* A tachograph card
* A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
* A valid ADR licence for all classes other than 1 & 7
* A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
* A safety focus
* Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience
* Minimum 2 years Tanker experience
* Minimum 2 years ADR experience
The Package:
Expected earnings on these shift patterns would give an average annual salary of £50,000 - £55,000. Please note these figures are indicative earnings for this group, actual earnings will vary depending on the hours worked.
