Looking for experienced, well-rounded & technically astute ELECTRICAL ESTIMATORS who will join our BoMark Team!
We are looking for those with estimating experience in both large and small projects, and who are comfortable with commercial electrical estimating for all types of projects including schools, hospitals & federal work.

The ideal candidates will have a strong track record, quality standards, and effective relationship-building skills, while mentoring with the team & project leaders. Familiarity with the Baltimore Industry Business and the surrounding counties is also preferred. We are looking for leaders who are always seeking innovative ways to increase our performance, efficiencies, and successes on all levels.
JOB DETAILS:
The Estimator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all estimating functions, including the development of project budgets, estimates, cost tracking, and project support for all divisions. This role helps develop and implement all department standards and procedures, reviews final estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness, and maintains the company estimating database.
1. Helps collectively manage department activities, makes self available to staff, provides regular feedback, and develops subordinates' skills.
2. Manage estimates.
3. Review bid requests and proposals.
4. Prepare weekly bid calendar and ensure complete, accurate, and timely completion of estimates.
5. Responsible for prioritizing and planning work activities, using time efficiently, and developing realistic action plans.
6. Delegate work assignments, set expectations, monitor delegated activities and workload, motivate others to perform well, and accept feedback from others.
7. Attend job walks and report information back to the manager related to critical job drawings and bid requirements.
8. Prepare bid summary and review estimates with Estimators, Project Manager, and/or Executives.
9. Review estimates and revisions for completeness and accuracy.
10. Follow up on bid results and maintain estimate tracking log.
11. Analyze estimates vs. completed projects.
12. Provide tracking including weekly updates.
13. Develop and provide estimating training.
14. Maintain department confidentiality.
15. File, organize, and maintain estimate files associated with the above-referenced tasks.
16. Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
1. Minimum of 3 years electrical estimating experience.
2. Field experience as an electrician or a degree in Construction Management.
3. Extensive experience using estimating software.
4. Strong ability to conceptually estimate electrical construction projects.
5. Extensive working knowledge of the electrical construction industry.
6. Ability to understand all types of drawings and technical specifications.
7. Knowledge of the Electrical Code, fire alarm, and other systems.
8. Strong analytical skills and statistical background.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
10. Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office.
