Overview Location: Sunderland Salary: up to £60,000 OTE (including £25,000 basic plus uncapped commission) Hours of Work: (44) Monday to Friday 08:45 to 18:00 (with one day off), Saturdays 08:45 to 17:00 and alternate Sundays 10:00 to 16:00 Owing to our hard-work and continuous success, Lookers opened a new Nissan dealership in the Sunderland area at the end of 2023, and we are now looking to expand our successful team As a Sales Executive here at Lookers, you could be specialising in New and Used car sales, focusing on providing world class customer motoring experience You will work alongside our other Sales Executives, Business Manager and Sales Managers to ensure our Customers’ always get the best service. Joining our hard-working Sales Executives, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills which will allow you to build rapport with colleagues and customers. Not only will you be joining one of the top automotive retailers in the UK, but you will also be reporting to an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Manager, who has a wide range of knowledge and experience within the automotive industry Our team of Sales Managers and Business Managers will play a key part in your success, through on-going training and support, regular 1-to-1’s and in-house Sales training. All of this will help to strengthen your knowledge and experience, allowing you to develop your skills and establish a strong career within the industry. Our Sales Executives are the key points of contact and pay close attention to detail to understand customers wants and needs. Responsibilities Communicating with customers via email, telephone and in person ensuring you create a welcoming environment at all times Communicating effectively with customers and listening intently to their wants and needs, in order to suggest suitable vehicles that match their requirements Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives Negotiating the final price for the sale Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale Liaising with all the relevant departments throughout the whole sales process to ensure an efficient and smooth transaction Qualifications The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be self-motivated to crack on with the job and passionate about what they do. You will be expected to hit targets so being ambitious and hard-working is essential. Previous experience in a similar position and within the motor trade is desirable for this role.
