Job Title: Nurture Teacher (SEND/SEMH & EBSA)
Location: Liverpool
Hourly Rate: £26 - £30 per hour
DBS: Essential
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Nurture Teachers to join our team in Liverpool. This role offers the chance to make a positive impact on children with SEND, SEMH and EBSA needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, deliver, and assess lessons tailored to children with SEND, SEMH, and EBSA needs.
2. Foster a nurturing, safe, and supportive classroom environment where students can thrive emotionally and academically.
3. Work closely with teaching staff, support staff, and parents to provide holistic support for each child.
4. Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the individual needs of students, focusing on engagement, development, and well-being.
5. Monitor student progress and implement interventions to help overcome challenges and achieve goals.
Essential Requirements:
1. PGCE with QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
2. Proven experience working with students with SEND, SEMH, and EBSA needs.
3. Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
4. Ability to differentiate lessons to support a range of abilities and learning styles.
5. Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
6. DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance - essential.
