This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, providing specialised physiotherapy services across a mix of orthopaedics, falls management, frailty, EDL, and neuro. The successful candidate will play a key role in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients, ensuring the highest standards of care. What will your responsibilities be : The Band 6 Physiotherapist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of patients with various conditions, developing and implementing tailored treatment plans, and monitoring progress. Duties include providing manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education to patients, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care. The role involves maintaining accurate patient records, participating in clinical audits, and contributing to service development initiatives. Ensuring compliance with professional standards and guidelines is essential, as is engaging in ongoing professional development and training. The position involves managing a caseload focusing on a mix of orthopaedics, falls management, frailty, EDL, and neuro. EDL, or Extensor Digitorum Longus, is a muscle in the anterior compartment of the lower leg that plays a crucial role in extending the lateral four digits and dorsiflexing the ankle. Addressing issues related to EDL involves stretching, myofascial release, and activation exercises to regain muscle balance and improve functional ankle dorsiflexion. Qualifications and Experiences: HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent Significant experience in orthopaedic physiotherapy, falls management, frailty, EDL, and neuro Proficiency in manual therapy and exercise prescription Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and professional practice How to apply?
