We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media & Customer Engagement Specialist to oversee and execute innovative social media and content strategies. In this role, you will work closely with senior management, ensuring all campaigns align with the company’s brand vision and objectives.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing brand awareness, engaging with target audiences, and driving growth. This includes managing social media platforms and creating compelling content.
Your work will directly influence how the brand is perceived, contributing to our overall marketing strategy and driving measurable results.
Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across leading platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok)
* Stay updated on emerging trends and platform updates to adapt strategies
* Lead all social media initiatives, managing campaigns from start to finish - briefing, creative conception and post-campaign analysis
* Plan, create, and schedule engaging multimedia content
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content aligns with brand identity and goals
* Maintain and update the content calendar, ensuring consistency across all channels
* Create high-quality, self-shot social content
* Assist in the production of all content, creating assets for paid media and supplying content for email marketing campaigns
* Respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
* Foster a strong online community by engaging with customers and followers
* Attend local networking events as a company representative
* Client visits with account managers to obtain testimonials and content
Analytics & Reporting
* Monitor and report on social media performance on a weekly and monthly basis
* Use data to inform decision-making and optimize future campaigns
Experience
* 2 years in a similar social media role
* Experience growing engagement and audiences across social media platforms
* A strong creative eye, attention to detail, and overall genuine passion for the social media landscape are key
* Highly organised with strong written and verbal communication skills
* A collaborative style of working
* Graphic design skills would be advantageous
* Driving Licence
What you’ll get
* Salary £30,000 - £35,000 (Subject to Experience) and performance bonus package. OTE £40,000 +
