Responsibilities
* Administer firewalls, switches, load balancers, and wireless access points.
* Troubleshoot network hardware and resolve connectivity issues.
* Monitor network availability, ISP performance, and remediate alerts.
* Apply firmware updates and security patches to network devices.
* Monitor SSL/TLS certificates for expiration and renewal.
* Optimize network performance through continuous monitoring and tuning.
* Maintain configuration backups for network devices.
* Manage event escalations and coordinate incident resolution.
* Provision VLANs, assign IPs, and configure network ports.
* Administer access control and security policies.
* Switching & Routing: Cisco, Meraki, Aruba.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in network engineering, administration, or support.
* Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
* Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and network issues.
* Experience with network monitoring, performance tuning, and event escalation.
* Familiarity with security patching, firmware updates, and change management.
* Ability to provision and configure VLANs, IP addressing, and port assignments.
* Knowledge of access administration and certificate management.
* Excellent communication skills and client-focused mindset.
* Industry certifications (CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, etc.) are a plus.
