We are seeking a Senior Researcher to join our global LLM-Augmented Software Transformation group, where you will apply Fujitsu’s leading-edge technologies to revolutionize customer businesses. Your expertise will be crucial in various software development initiatives, including AI system development and software modernization.

We are on the lookout for a Senior Researcher to work within our LLM-Augmented Software Transformation group as part of a global research network. Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting research and development in LLM-Augmented software engineering, leading and participating in pioneering projects focused on software transformation and automation.
* Providing technical leadership and collaborating with Fujitsu Global R&D teams to develop novel software development technologies in the generative AI era, with research outputs expected to be published in top conferences and contribute to Fujitsu’s business advancements.
* Mentoring interns and junior researchers to foster a culture of learning and innovation.
Your experience
You will be able to demonstrate that you have:
* A Ph.D. or equivalent postgraduate qualification in computer science or a related field, with a strong research track record, including publications in top-tier conferences and journals.
* Proven expertise in machine learning, deep learning and AI, particularly in LLM and RAG technologies, with knowledge of LLM Agents and/or graph ML as a plus.
* Proficiency in Python/PyTorch and popular data science libraries, as well as development skills with Docker, Linux, GitHub/Gitlab, GPUs, and cloud services.
* A passion for software engineering with the ability to write clean code.
* Experience in leading research collaboration projects with tangible outcomes.
* Able to propose research topics by exploring potential future business opportunities.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
