Assistant Operations Manager
Location: Crewe
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30-5pm
Job Purpose
The role of Assistant Operations Manager is important to us because ultimately this role is crucial to us delivering all department projects in a timely & efficient manner whilst also delivering the best customer journey along the way. The role is a pivotal part of our operations team here at Radius Charge.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Operations department runs smoothly, efficiently and in line with business objectives. They will ensure that any customer query or complaint is dealt with promptly and effectively. Ensure jobs get scheduled promptly and all communication with the customer throughout the process is completed to a high standard and they will complete regular reviews of all processes within the department and have operational efficiency and success at the forefront of their mind.
Your responsibilities day to day will be...
* Ensure relationships are maintained with all external suppliers.
* Ensure customer installations are organised within set KPI's.
* Take 2nd line customer service calls/escalations and solve customer issues efficiently and in line with business objectives.
* Liaise with other departments within Radius Charge to ensure a smooth process from Sales through to Finance and job completion.
* Oversee the scheduling of engineer resource internal and external and review to make improvements.
* Oversee and continually review and develop overall department process.
* Ensure accurate data is recorded and kept up to date for operational reporting.
* Ensure CRM and all other system information is always kept up to date.
* Oversee and review operational data with a view to developing it for better department reporting and forecasting.
* Ensure all operational admin tasks are completed within set KPI's.
* Ensure charge point back-office processes are up to date, documented and all staff are trained.
What do we expect of you?
* Desirable - Experience of working within a fast-paced Operations department.
* Ability to travel across multiple sites may be required.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* A quick learner with the ability to think on your feet under pressure, solve problems and be pro-active.
* Competency across a range of IT skills and be confident learning new systems.
* Ability to prioritise and keep to deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
