We are excited to share the offer of a substantive postin the Wakefield CAMHS Eating Disorder Service.
We welcome applicants who wish to join a fast paced,dynamic and exciting team with an interest and awareness of eating disorders.
The Wakefield CAMHS Eating Disorder Team providecomprehensive triage, assessment and NICE compliant interventions for childrenand young people up to the age of 18; we support those with anorexia nervosa,bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and ARFID.
The team are community-based working Monday-Friday9-5pm.
You will be supported to grow your own skills andexpertise whilst also enhancing those of the wider multi-disciplinary team.
You will join an experienced and committed specialistmulti-disciplinary team; the team has well established links with regional andnational partners within the field of eating disorders along with excellentsupervision and training opportunities.
Main duties of the job
To be involved in duty, triage, assessment andimplementing NICE concordant interventions.
Physical healthmonitoring.
Care coordination
Liaise with external agencies, inpatient units,medical wards, social care and schools
Work closely with colleagues from other pathways withinCAMHS Work closely with the wider multi-disciplinary team
Support with ongoing development of the service
Work closely with colleagues to develop and enhance theknowledge base across the workforce.
Work within theparameters of their position and following appropriate escalation processes

The post holder will be responsible andaccountable for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation ofskilled interventions to address identified needs and risk for allocatedclients on a defined caseload. Works within a multi-disciplinary team as a member of Specialist CAMHS.

1. Registered Mental Health Nurse / Social Worker / Occupational therapist.

2. Mentorship Qualification or equivalent.

13. Can demonstrate skills in assessing and managing risk in a variety of settings.
14. Proven ability in assessing the needs and strengths of people and their carers.
15. Ability to deliver a range of therapeutic techniques which can be incorporated into one to one and / or group interventions.
16. Working within an integrated multi-disciplinary environment and co-working with other teams within team meetings, case conferences and professional meetings.

18. Experience of working holistically with children and young people with an emphasis on a holistic assessment of emotional and mental health needs alongside coexisting physical and environmental factors that impacts on wellbeing.
