Job Description
At MPI Limited, we require a skilled Aircraft Electrician to join our team in Chester. This long-term contract position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in electrical systems, who can work efficiently in a double day shift with up to 50 hours available per week. Immediate start is subject to clearance.
The successful candidate will have competence in the assembly of electrical and electronic parts, materials, hardware, and use of calibrated tooling. They should also have experience with wiring harnesses, components, and sub-assemblies for the manufacture and modification of electrical, electronic, and electro-magnetic equipment.
The ideal candidate will have experience at flight test/system function level and some familiarity with troubleshooting system faults. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills and expertise in aircraft systems engineering.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assembling electrical and electronic parts, materials, and hardware
* Using calibrated tooling to ensure high-quality workmanship
* Maintaining and modifying existing aircraft systems
* Troubleshooting system faults and ensuring efficient resolution
We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with industry standards, based on location and qualifications. The estimated salary for this role is £38.00 per hour, within the scope of IR35.
