Your main tasks and responsibilities: - Develop expert knowledge of Sulzer's comprehensive product portfolio, including aeration systems, mixers, waste conditioning equipment, pumps, and digital monitoring technologies. - Provide technical consultation and solution design during pre-sales engagements, addressing customer challenges and creating customised, high-value proposals. - Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers and channel partners, showcasing the innovation and capabilities of our offerings. - Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and project teams to deliver seamless customer experiences and support project execution from concept to commissioning. - Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor developments, and emerging technologies, contributing to Sulzer's continuous growth and leadership in the market. To succeed in this role, you will need: - A strong engineering background, ideally with knowledge of the water and wastewater industry. - An engineering degree or equivalent, or 5 years of relevant experience. - Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD) and MS Office, with experience in CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce/SAP desirable). - The ability to build rapport with customers and address both technical and commercial queries confidently. - A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays. - Experience in bid/proposal management is desirable.
