Job Title: Managing Director - Government Sector
Location: London
Hours: Full time
Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least three days per week, or 60% of your time, in the office.
About this opportunity!
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Managing Director to join our Institutional Coverage team based in London as the leader of our Government coverage sector.
This is a newly created role and you'll play a leading part in developing and driving forward the strategy of the Governments portfolio, whilst providing leadership and strategic direction to the wider team.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading initiatives to grow our Governments sector, both in the UK and overseas, driving multi-product revenue opportunities across the Group.
* Strategically engaging senior stakeholders within the Government sector to drive revenues and product penetration.
* Establishing and cementing Lloyds’s status as a leading bank across Government entities and subsidiaries, with multi-layered dialogue and income growth.
* Developing and reviewing business objectives and strategy for the sector to facilitate growth aligned to the Institutional Coverage and wider Corporate and Institutional Banking strategies.
* Implementing and maintaining the risk-management framework (encompassing principles, policies, methodologies, systems, internal controls, processes, procedures and people) within the sector, in line with the approved appetite for risk and regulatory standards.
* Lead an experienced team of coverage bankers.

* Track record of leading C-suite engagement in financial services.
* Credible network of senior client relationships within the Governments sector.
* Strong product knowledge across Debt, Risk, and Cash propositions.
