As Dealer Technical Support, you will be the primary point of contact for our dealership partners, providing expert assistance and support for technical, warranty and parts enquiries. Your role is crucial in ensuring dealer satisfaction by resolving technical issues promptly and accurately, offering guidance and maintaining strong professional relationships.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including our vehicle import centre, and high-level escalations with our factory’s technical services team, to address dealer needs and ensure a seamless experience.
Our aftersales team is central to KGM Motors’ success in making sure we deliver long-term care and support to our customers and dealer partners.

Main Functions
* Manage and process all technical enquiries submitted via the online system and record responses.
* Responsible for the daily processing of dealer parts look-up support requests.
* Continuously improve technical, warranty, and dealer support systems and processes.
* Support the relationship with the KGM factory regarding technical advice, support, recalls, and bulletins.
* Provide technical support to our Bristol import centre.
* Occasional off-site visits to dealerships and our Bristol import centre for in-person technical support.
* Liaison with the field team and other departments regarding technical, parts, and warranty matters.
* Assist the Head of Warranty to manage warranty claims handling.
* Support and develop own role to learn homologation and compliance responsibilities of the General Service Manager.
* Ad hoc duties as required – willingness to assist other team members during busy periods.
Work Experience Requirements
* Current high-level technical vehicle diagnostic experience (essential).
* Electric vehicle (EV) current high-level vehicle diagnostic experience (essential).
* Knowledge of vehicle homologation and compliance processes (desirable).
* Knowledge of automotive parts look-up systems (KGM EPC) (desirable).
* Knowledge of automotive manufacturers’ warranty processes (desirable).
Education Requirements
* Minimum of Level 3 City and Guilds Motor Vehicle qualification (or equivalent) (essential).
* Minimum of IMI Level 3 Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement qualification (or equivalent) (essential).
