Right Now Group are currently partnered with a leader who is recruiting within their Field Service Engineering team in the Devon region after a continued period of sustained growth.

Ideal Experience:
1. Electrical Engineering background or relevant qualification i.e. City & Guilds - NVQ or equivalent
2. Previously Field Service Engineering Experience
3. Experience in Repairing or Installing Catering, Kitchen, white goods, Industrial Equipment or domestic goods i.e. Microwaves, Ovens etc.
IMPORTANT: Full Training will be provided as well as a company Van - please note all applicants must have a full driver's license due to the nature of this role.
Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Weekly Hours: 8:00 - 16:00 (1 in 4 weekends required)
Monday to Friday - 1.5 x basic hourly rate once 8.5 Hours have elapsed
Saturday all day - 1.5 x basic hourly rate for all hours worked
Sunday all day - 2.0 x basic hourly rate for all hours worked
Bank Holidays all day - 2.5 x basic hourly rate for all hours worked
Salary: £30k-£34k
Role Type: Full - Time Permanent
Location: Exeter/Plymouth/Newquay/Torquay/Taunton - Devon region
Job Responsibilities:
1. Investigate technical issues and resolve along with realizing opportunities appropriate to the business needs of the specific customer
2. Install, maintain and survey high-end Catering/Kitchen appliances
3. Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation
4. Complete paperwork accurately and on time
5. Provide support required for internal and external customers
6. Be able to manage tight deadlines for physical and administrative aspects of the role
7. Service levels to customer lead-times and KPIs
Desirable Skills:
1. Previous experience in a Field Service Engineering or Technician role
2. Previous experience in repairing or installing Electrical kitchen appliances, microwaves, ovens, cookers, or industrial equipment
3. Electrical knowledge, previous experience in maintenance or some form of Electronics/Electrical engineering
4. Experience in working out on the road from a van or car
5. Good people/customer service skills
6. Flexible approach to working hours and days
7. Able to work under pressure
8. Have good problem-solving acumen
9. Able to both work independently and also as part of a team
