Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Cheshire, Poynton Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £120 - £140 Per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans to ensure continuity in the students' learning Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment Provide feedback to regular teachers on students' progress and any issues that arise Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities as required Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the national curriculum Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different students Good classroom management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Experience working as a supply teacher in a variety of school settings Working Conditions: Work in different schools on a temporary basis Potential for travel within the North West England region Collaborate with different teaching staff and students regularly All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
