The Director of Finance is the professional leader responsible for the Finance Team and supporting the Chief Financial Officer in the development and implementation of the University Finance strategy. A significant element of the role will be management and development of the University finance services, ensuring that UHI achieves its financial targets, and statutory financial duties. The Director of Finance will also lead on the co-ordination and reporting of the financial positions of academic partners and will support the Chief Financial Officer in engagement with academic partners and the Scottish Funding Council on related matters including the distribution of SFC funding.

This role is a SPOT salary.
This post is full time and will involve working 35 hours per week on a working pattern as agreed with your line manager, please note that due to the nature of this role evening and weekend work may be required.

Full-time posts carry a total of 39 days leave per annum (pro rata for part-time posts).
