Plumbing & Heating Engineer Lecturer – The Role:
Are you passionate about Plumbing and Heating Engineering? Do you have a knack for teaching and inspiring the next generation of industry professionals? Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join our team as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer Lecturer.
As a Plumbing & Heating Engineer Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our diverse student body. Your expertise will help shape the curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and industry-standard. You will motivate students and prepare them for successful careers in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and workshops in Plumbing and Heating Engineering.
* Develop and update course materials to reflect industry advancements and best practices.
* Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience.
* Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching methods and curriculum development.
* Participate in student recruitment, enrolment activities, and open days to promote the programs.
You – The Candidate:
We are seeking candidates who hold:
* Level 3 NVQ in Plumbing
* Gas competency
* IQA & Assessors Award or willingness to work towards it
* A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
* Level 2 (GCSE A-C) in English and Maths or willingness to attain these
* Willingness to undertake renewables delivery training
* Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and technologies
