About Our Client
A new opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a growing business based in Woking.
Job Description
* Performs general accounting duties as required, including preparation and inputting of journal entries, account analysis and reconciliations.
* Maintains fixed asset records and manages company Capex reporting.
* Responsible for preparing and filing multiple jurisdiction tax and VAT returns in a timely manner.
* Assists in any sales tax and/or property tax audits.
* Assumes a complementary role in various stages of the annual budget preparation.
* Conducts bank reconciliations (multi bank accounts and currencies).
* Processes and enters vendor invoices and resolves queries.
* Checks sales invoices and produces daily sales report to the USA.
* Ensures all debtor, cash, and bought ledger payments are promptly and accurately recorded.
* Participates in various credit control and collection activities.
* Agrees all aging, receivable, and payable balances with the General Ledger.
* Enters payments onto banking systems in preparation for authorization of payment.
* Manages petty cash and employee expenses.
* Files purchase and sales invoices, expenses, journals, and other accounts correspondence.
The Successful Applicant
* Candidates must have experience in a similar role.
* May be studying towards an accountancy qualification.
* Strong MS Excel skills.
* French/German preferred but not essential.
