Job title: PMO – Senior Planner

Salary: £40,748 + depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Performing and undertaking intermediate project reporting, scheduling and problem solving.
* Providing technical support to team members.
* Ensuring one or more aspects of Project Management and Controls (PMC) practices in the project are fit for purpose.
* Identifying, assessing and managing risks to the success of the project, applying appropriate PMC methods and tools.
* Working with stakeholders to agree on the PMC approach and collaboratively prepare realistic project plans and track activities against the project schedule.
* Identifying, assessing and managing risks to the success of the overall project.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Good experience and knowledge of Project Management and Controls policies and procedures.
* Experience working on Major Projects.
* Demonstrable Project Planning experience.
* Excellent Stakeholder management experience.
* Full Microsoft package competency.
Desirable:
* Experience with Primavera P6.
* Project Management certification (APM, Prince2 qualified or Project Management degree) or equivalent experience.

The Site and Facilities PMO Team:
An exciting opportunity to join a newly established PMO function within Site & Facilities. Working within the Planning team to support a growing and varied portfolio of projects in Site & Facilities across the Barrow site. This role offers a wide range of exposure to different teams across the Barrow site, whilst individually being given the opportunity for professional growth within the function.
