Who are Chilled Pubs?
It all started back in 2007 when Loren agreed to Richards crazy dream, and they together purchased the Bulls Head in Repton. Fast forward 17 years and they have a thriving pub business. With 7 gorgeous sites, over 500 employees, an industry leading food & drink menu and just to be a bit different, 7 mascot alpacas.
Driven by their vision to become the top leading pub brand in the Midlands, they’re passionate about finding superstars to live and breathe their values and ensure all guests are truly wowed by their Chilled Pub experience. With no signs of slowing down, Richard and Loren are always on the lookout for their next project and would like to reach a portfolio of 20 pubs in the near future.
What the role entails?
* Reporting into Chilled Pubs owner- Richard, you will be responsible for a team of circa 100 staff across front of house and kitchen teams.
* Regular coaching support for your team to ensure the quality of guest service, table management, efficiency of service and overall satisfaction is one whereby our guests are wowed.
* Working closely with the senior managers within the business to look at opportunities to grow on our current performance, improve upon our team capabilities, capacity management processes to ultimately provide a memorable guest experience.
* You will need to ensure your team are fully competent and confident in their roles. With the support of your management team, you will need to conduct regular appraisals, training sessions and performance management reviews to drive overall team performance and guest satisfaction.
* Engaging and motivating your team with your own unique style of leadership, effective communication skills and on-going coaching support is critical in helping us ensure a happy team environment is maintained.
* You will need to ensure the guests experience is a top priority, empowering your team to create an atmosphere of warmth and one that is welcome to all.
* You will be responsible for regularly checking our GOS (guest’s opinion scores) and making any necessary adjustments to maintain our high standards of service.
* You will need to work closely with the kitchen team on service times and food quality.

* Somebody with a flexible approach to work, this isn’t a typical 9-5 role, and both evening and weekend work will be required.
