Mitie Telecoms are leading providers of acquisition, design and construction (ADC) services, specialist managed services of temporary mobile infrastructure, and facilities maintenance for telecoms. We are looking for an Acquisition Surveyor to join the team based from our Manchester Office. What are the key responsibilities of the Acquisition Surveyor? The role involves the management of a volume of delivery activity associated with the acquisition of rights that enable the delivery of Mobile Operator upgrades, replacement, and new sites; whether on a temporary or permanent basis. You will be working across multiple Client programmes so it is essential to be a team player and have the technical experience to advise on and deliver acquisition related activity. Main Duties of the Acquisition Surveyor You will be undertaking: Desktop analysis and site finding activities; Conducting negotiations and concluding Heads of Terms (HOTs) documents in accordance with appropriate negotiation parameters; Prepare and submit Acquisition Handover packs on a quality basis. As a Mitie Telecoms representative, you will attend and confidently represent the team and wider business at Client meetings, while completing system administration which will include not only internal systems but also Client systems. Ideal Candidate We are looking for an experienced Acquisition Surveyor with demonstrable achievements in site acquisition delivery, especially within the mobile telecommunications network market. A sound appreciation for and understanding of Landlord and Tenant legislation and the Electronic Communications Code will be key. Experience with appropriate planning legislation will also be of advantage, especially in the context of undertaking site assessments and acquisition delivery.
