The VP Marketing will be an equally innovative leader who will drive the development and long-term strategy for our global marketing teams with a focus on delivering organic growth through innovation, collaboration and a high performance team culture.
Reporting to the President of Consumer Care, you will be tasked with leading the strategic marketing elements of our competition and customer landscape whilst also ensuring strong collaboration with our regional research and technology teams to ensure Croda is a market leader in areas of Cosmetics, Beauty Care and Personal Care.

* An experienced and innovative leader with a strong background delivering complex market strategies in large Consumer Care related organisations.
* Firm understanding of customer and competitor behaviour with a background in leading matured strategic marketing cultures and methodologies globally.
* Designed and successfully implemented organisational and/or cultural change initiatives in a large, matrix organisation.
* Highly creative and curious mindset to identify new ways of working aimed at embedding an improvement culture.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills to build relationships internally and with key customers globally.
* Passion for sustainability and innovation with a track record of interpreting and delivering on corporate sustainability targets with research and development teams.
* Highly inclusive leader who is able to build balanced cross-cultural teams which support fair treatment and opportunity for all.
Key Responsibilities
* Full responsibility for the marketing activities and branding of the organisation and its products to ensure ongoing sales and profit.
* Providing leadership and strategic direction (3-5 years) at both a divisional level and on a global basis.
* Provide critical focus on the alignment of the short and long term and strategic business plans of marketing with those of sales, R&D, and PSRA across all market segments of the business.
* Identifies opportunities for new business product launches, marketing trends and customer and consumer needs.
* Ensure new product launches meet minimum gross margin contributions for new and patented products and rationalize existing products that do not meet the gross margin criteria.
* Accountable for all marketing aspects of the business unit whilst also ensuring appropriate customer service and health & safety management is aligned with group standards.
* Serves as the final authority on marketing campaigns, advertising and any other branding information.
* Ensure that succession and coaching is provided to deliver/maintain the correct organisational structure.
* Creatively approaching the commercialisation of new products across all market segments with a strong preference to patented technology and protected intellectual property.
* Create an innovative marketing culture to ensure the Croda brand is well recognised and that we are an established market leader.
Additional Information
* This position can be based at any of our Croda sites globally with particular preference to being based at our Head/Regional Offices in the UK, Paris, Barcelona, Singapore or Princeton, NJ.
* Relocation support will be provided if required.
