We’re partnering with one of the UK’s most forward-thinking insurance brokers, currently working on an exciting new project. They have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join their team. In this role, you’ll provide essential support to Account Executives and the Managing Director in a traditional Account Handler position, liaising with insurers, negotiating rates, and primarily handling renewals, with some involvement in new business enquiries.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need strong experience across a wide range of commercial lines, including property, casualty, and liability risks. The ability to manage renewals efficiently while supporting new business development is essential, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills when dealing with insurers and clients.
The role is hybrid, based in West Leicester, making it ideal for candidates in Leicester, Coventry, Hinckley, and Rugby. Due to the office location, having your own transport is essential, as it is not centrally based.
