The Role
Reporting to the Test Lead, working alongside the production team, the role will be responsible for testing the organisation's microprocessor-based embedded computer products.
What will I be delivering?
1. Configure and prepare the products for thermal testing.
2. Testing on the bench of the I/O in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
3. Other duties may include, but not exclusively, light mechanical assembly, and customer returns failure investigation.

Desired and essential knowledge and experience
1. Experience working in a test environment – desired.
2. Competent use of common test equipment – DMMs, oscilloscopes – desired.
3. Competent user of Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel – essential.
4. Use of PCs and their operating systems – essential.
5. Experience in fault finding to component level – desired.
6. Installation of software both at board and computer level – desired.
7. Familiarity with working in an ISO 9001 accredited company – desired.
8. Good inter-personal skills to work in a team environment and use own initiative to organise and prioritise their own work.
