Position Summary
Straumann Group is seeking a dynamic Head of Product Marketing, CCS (Connected Customer Solutions) APAC to drive market expansion and ensure the commercial success of our digital solutions portfolio across the Asia-Pacific region. This newly created role will play a pivotal part in advancing the next generation of Straumann digital solutions, supporting the strategic growth of the rapidly expanding CCS business in APAC.
The portfolio includes:
* Straumann Group digital Plattform Straumann AXS
* Intraoral scanners & 3D printers
* CAD-CAM prosthetics & clinical software
* Patient-specific design services & integrated digital dentistry workflows
Key Responsibilities
* Drive Commercial Success: Collaborate with the country teams in the region to develop and execute tailored go-to-market strategies that align with global strategy while addressing localized customer needs and market dynamics across APAC.
* Business Model Innovation: Implement new business models and create value-driven marketing strategies to support regional market penetration and revenue growth.
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with regional and global teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution within a high-growth, matrix organization.
* Market Intelligence & Positioning: Analyze market trends, customer segments, and competitive landscapes to refine value propositions and drive differentiation.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain a strong presence in key APAC markets through regular travel (30-40%), working closely with country teams to support localized initiatives.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Build, coach and develop a high performance team of product marketing Marketing Managers, functionally but not directly reporting to this position, and drive commercialization of Straumann digital solutions across the entire CCS portfolio.
* Develop and execute go-to-market strategies tailored for key customer segments, including General Practitioners, Specialists, Dental Service Organizations, and Universities.
* Design and implement new business models that lower barriers to entry, drive market penetration, ensure long-term profitability, and strengthen customer connections to the Straumann platform.
* Lead the development regionally adapted sales & marketing plans, and selling tools to support commercial success.
* Lead Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of Market (VOM) initiatives to capture insights that inform product innovation and market strategy.
* Monitor and analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive landscape to maintain domain expertise and refine commercialization efforts.
* Oversee and ensure the commercial readiness of all new product and feature launches across the CCS portfolio, working closely with cross-functional teams.
* Drive seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support product development, launch execution, and commercialization success.
* Work closely with global and country teams to develop localized commercialization strategies, sharing best practices across subsidiaries.
* Partner with Product Management to integrate customer and market feedback into the product vision and roadmap.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor or Master’s degree in life sciences, engineering or business.
* Minimum 10 years’ experience and proven success in commercial leadership and/or product management.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in dental industry, strong experience in digital dentistry preferred.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in people leadership and a proven track record of people development.
* Extensive knowledge and understanding of digital solutions in dentistry.
* Extensive experience leading complex product launches.
* Fluent in English; other regional languages are an asset.
* Comfortable with up to +30% travel.
