What You’ll Do: As our Project Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in making sure projects run smoothly from start to finish. You’ll work closely with our brilliant team, providing administrative and operational support to ensure our projects are executed with precision. Whether it’s coordinating activities, managing resources, or liaising with key stakeholders, your contributions will keep the wheels turning Your Day-to-Day: Schedule and manage resources via Smartsheet, ensuring every detail is in place. Collaborate with SSEN and the RFQ team to resolve design issues swiftly. Keep all project documentation up-to-date, including photos and key dates for seamless project tracking. Coordinate essential works with third-party providers, including councils and highway authorities, and manage any challenges that arise. Plan and manage PSIs to ensure all safety and logistical requirements are met. Oversee commercial aspects of the project, from booking generators to liaising with SSEN on customer impacts. Handle client communications with care, resolving any concerns promptly and efficiently. What You’ll Bring: Knowledge and understanding of Street Works and the New Roads and Street Works Act is essential to ensure compliance and successful project execution. A Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field. Experience in the utility industry (bonus points for street works and the New Roads and Street Works Act knowledge). A strong background in project coordination or administration—ideally within a similar industry. An eye for detail and a knack for staying organized under pressure. Excellent communication skills to keep everyone—from stakeholders to team members—on the same page. Proficiency with project management tools (think Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello).
