Teacher required for Alternative Provision in Barking. QTS Teacher with experience with Social and Emotional Mental Health required. Teaching Core subjects plus PE / Sports / Football Coaching for secondary age pupils in a small class setting with 1-1 teaching. Many pupils have been excluded from mainstream settings. Experienced Teacher required. Salary: £170 - £245 - ongoing contract.

The Role - Alternative Provision - Barking and Dagenham Borough
This tight-knit school is looking for a Teacher to start on a full-time and long-term contract in September. You must be a fully qualified teacher that holds QTS or QTLS or OTT and has experience teaching in an alternative provision or Secondary school. You will be required to plan for and teach small groups. The teaching will follow the UK Curriculum, and you will be mainly teaching core subjects - English, Maths, Science, and Sports coaching.
The role requires a creative Teacher to make learning engaging for pupils with complex issues and someone who is empathetic, able to build rapport and build confidence in these young people.
