After a phenomenal year in 2024, we are looking to expand our team of Duty Managers to assist the General Manager and Hotel Manager run the busy daily operation of our award-winning property in Braemar (Scotland). We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking team player ready to take the lead in our 2 Michelin-Key hotel, across all aspects of the business. Your experience in forming meaningful relationships with the teams will play an essential role in your success, thereby allowing us to exceed the expectation of our guests in every aspect of their stay.
As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing the daily hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences expected from a luxury country-house hotel.
2. Handling guest enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
3. Monitoring room reservations, occupancy levels, and revenue performance.
4. Collaborating with various departments to maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and safety.
5. Ensuring compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and regulations.
6. Acting as a point of contact for VIP guests and special events.
7. Responding effectively to emergencies and unexpected situations to ensure guest safety and well-being.
Our successful Duty Manager will have:
1. Proven experience from within a luxury hospitality environment.
2. Previous experience of working with LQA or Forbes luxury hospitality standards is an advantage.
3. The enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
4. Initiative, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills.
5. A thorough understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH.
6. The right to work in the UK – we are unable to secure a work visa for this role.
