As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will join a team responsible for designing bespoke and innovative products. You will be using SolidWorks for both design and simulation, ensuring all associated documentation—manuals, parts lists, and technical files—are accurate and up to date.
As a manufacturer of custom-engineered solutions, no two projects are the same. This role offers variety and the opportunity to work on challenging, high-value engineering projects.
Using SolidWorks, ePDM, and simulation tools daily
✔️ Working closely with the shop floor to monitor project progress
✔️ Conducting site visits for pre-installation checks
✔️ Creating technical documentation and manuals
Proven engineering experience in pressure vessels, industrial heat exchangers, or similar fields
✅ Strong SolidWorks skills (design & simulation)
✅ Work on cutting-edge engineering projects within an 8-acre production facility in Rochdale
