Distribution Coordinator
Monday to Friday - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM.
40 hours per week; due to the nature of the role, flexibility with start and finish times is required. Experience within the Logistics, Transport, or Distribution industry would be an advantage.
Overview
COOK is looking for a remarkable person to nourish relationships between COOK and its Concessions retailers. The Distribution team provides the vital link between food production and our customers. The team plays a key role in ensuring deliveries across the COOK network are carried out according to Health & Safety regulations and are delivered at the right place, time, and cost.
Responsibilities
1. Be the first line of support and troubleshoot day-to-day operational challenges.
2. Supervise drivers via pre/post shift briefings.
3. Support administration of driver and vehicle compliance records.
4. Ensure all distribution activities are performed safely in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
5. Support daily load planning and associated administration to optimize fleet utilization in line with Logistics KPIs.
6. Create and manage KPI reports to assist in cost and performance reporting.
7. Perform any other administrative tasks required for the distribution operation.
8. Be flexible with regard to working arrangements and undertake a variety of jobs over the 24/7 nature of the operation.
Good to Have
1. Experience in distribution.
2. Experience with contractor relationships.
3. Experience with HGV and MHE operations.
4. Vocational training relevant to the position (e.g., Health and Safety).
5. Excellent Excel skills with the ability to create and update reports.
6. Good written and verbal communication skills.
